We recently sat down with Ciaira Jacobs, Sales Support Professional, based at our Grand Rapids location! Ciaira shared with us some insights into her time at Perrigo to date and what she loves most about our culture!
How long have you worked at Perrigo? Tell us about your role and background.
I have 11 years of progressive experience at Perrigo, starting as a Packaging Specialist and advancing through roles in training, leadership, and quality assurance. Today, as a Sales Support Professional, I leverage deep operational knowledge and cross-functional expertise to deliver strategic support and drive business success with my team.
What keeps you at Perrigo?
What keeps me at Perrigo is the incredible opportunity for growth and continuous learning. I thrive on new challenges, and Perrigo has consistently provided both, helping me expand my skills and advance my career. I feel truly supported here, encouraged to set ambitious short- and long-term goals. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with outstanding mentors whose guidance has shaped my path and inspired me to keep reaching higher. How has your career progressed since you joined?
I’ve had the privilege of holding several roles at Perrigo. Packaging Specialist, Area Trainer, Line Leader/Rework Leader, and Quality Assurance Technician, each one shaping my skills and perspective. I’ve also gained experience across multiple areas of our business, including Bottles/ Blisters operations, Oral Care, and Sales Operations. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute in so many different capacities.
What is your favourite aspect of your role?
One of my favourite aspects of working at Perrigo is the collaborative and innovative culture. it’s something I’ve experienced in every role I’ve held here. Our people truly make that possible. Beyond my day-to-day responsibilities, I’ve loved encouraging others just as my mentors have encouraged me. Being part of groups like Always Quality, Training, ERT, Oral Care Engagement, and our Women’s BIG group has given me the chance to connect, contribute, and help foster the supportive environment that has shaped my own growth and that I am so passionate about.
